Rosehip Cottage
Rosehip Cottage is in Alnwick town. It's a Victorian terrace house, stone built. You're about a five minute walk from the market square.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 star rating. It's been done up recently, so it's fresh and clean. The ceilings are high and there are floorboards in the living room. The kitchen is smart and leads out to a small private patio with a seat.
You can walk to everything in the town. There are shops, pubs, restaurants, and a cinema which is also a playhouse. Alnwick Castle is the big one, it's where they filmed some of the Harry Potter bits. The Alnwick Garden is the other main attraction, it's quite dramatic with water features. They have a big treehouse restaurant there.
Coast is about six miles east. You've got Alnmouth, which is a nice little seaside village with a beach, and then a long stretch of beaches north and south from there. To the west, you've got the Northumberland National Park and the Cheviot Hills if you want proper walking. Both are about half an hour's drive.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, and the bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the street outside. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
