Bailiffgate
Bailiffgate is a two-up-two-down cottage in the middle of Alnwick. It's been done up recently and it's well kept.
The front door opens straight onto the street. The living room has a beamed ceiling and a stone fireplace with a wood burner. It heats the room well. The kitchen is through the back and it's open plan with a dining area. It's got everything you'd need.
Upstairs are two bedrooms. Both beds are two singles zipped together. We can make them up as singles or as super king doubles, just let us know when you book.
There's one bathroom upstairs. Out the back there's a small drying room for boots and coats, which is handy.
You're right in the town centre. The local shops, cafes, and pubs are all on your doorstep. The pub is a couple of minutes' walk.
Alnwick Castle is famous from Harry Potter. The gardens are really impressive, with the treehouse restaurant and the poison garden. You can walk to both from the cottage.
The coast is about five miles away. Places like Alnmouth and Craster are a short drive. For walking, you're close to the Cheviot hills inland and the coast path.
It's a 4 Star place so it's comfortable. It sleeps four, and we allow one well-behaved dog. There's a TV, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included.
