The Lookout is in Boulmer. It's a small fishing village. The cottage is a detached bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac. You can walk down to the beach in a couple of minutes.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everything's on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after. We had it extended a few years back. The main living area has big windows. You get a view over the garden and the fields behind it. Good spot to watch the sunset.
There's a pub about 300 yards away. They serve food. The nearest shop is in Longhoughton, about two miles up the road. For bigger shops, you'd go to Alnwick.
You're right on the coast here. The beach is shingle and sand. Good for a walk. Craster and its castle ruins are a short drive south. Alnwick is about seven miles inland. That's where the castle and the famous garden are. Seahouses is roughly eight miles north. You can get boat trips to the Farne Islands from there to see the puffins.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and a woodburning stove for the colder nights. WiFi is included. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. Parking for two cars on the drive. No pets sorry.
