Cuthbert Cottage is in Craster, right on the harbour. It's the end house in a short terrace. You're opposite the sea.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. We did it up a few years ago and keep on top of it. The kitchen is new. There's a wood burner in the living room.
The stairs are cottage stairs. They're steep and a bit narrow. Just so you know.
You can bring one dog. There's a small paved area out the back with a table. Parking is on the street just outside.
There's a pub about a minute's walk away, The Jolly Fisherman. They do food. The village shop is good for basics.
You're on the coast path here. It's a nice walk south to Dunstanburgh Castle, or north to Howick Haven. The beach at Embleton Bay is about a mile and a half along the path.
Alnwick is a ten minute drive for bigger shops. Alnmouth is about fifteen minutes. For a full day out, Bamburgh Castle and Seahouses are within half an hour. The Holy Island causeway is about twenty minutes away, but you must check the tide times.
The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
