Sheilas Cottage
Sheila's Cottage is in Christon Bank. It's semi-detached. There's a lane up to it. You're surrounded by fields, good views.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It was all refurbished in 2019. The stairs are normal.
The living room has an open fire. The kitchen and dining area are together on the ground floor. The garden is enclosed, mostly lawn with some shrubs. Looks out over the fields.
You're down a quiet lane. There's a shop and a pub about a mile away in Christon Bank. For a good beach, Embleton Bay is about two miles east. It's a long sandy beach. Craster is three miles, famous for the kippers. Seahouses is a bit further north, that's where you get the boats to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals.
Alnwick Castle and Gardens are about a twenty minute drive. The whole coast here is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. No pets sorry.
