Dotty Cottage

Dotty Cottage is a terraced house in Brownieside. It's between Beadnell and Seahouses. You look out over fields towards the coast.

It sleeps six, but it's two bedrooms and one bathroom, so that's something to remember. They're good sized rooms though. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's cosy and it works.

You've got your own garden, which is enclosed. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. Parking is on-site, and there's a washing machine and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them. No pets.

The local pub is about a mile away and does food. The nearest shop for a proper shop is four miles, in Seahouses.

The coast is about a mile away. Beadnell and Seahouses both have good beaches. You can walk along the coast path. The National Trust looks after a lot of it.

Seahouses is where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals. Bamburgh Castle is about four miles up the coast. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about nine miles inland. Holy Island is a drive, about eight miles, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway.
