The Granary Cottage is in Warenford, a small village inland. It's one of a pair of cottages, attached to Waren View. You have your own garden.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The Wi-Fi works. There's a washing machine, a TV, and parking right outside.
The pub is about thirty yards up the road. They do food. The nearest shop is a mile away in Belford, which has a small Co-op.
You're about a ten-minute drive from the coast. Bamburgh Castle is five miles away. The beach there is long and sandy. Seahouses is a bit further, where you can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals.
Other places within half an hour: Alnwick Castle and its gardens, Holy Island (check the tide times for the causeway), and Berwick-upon-Tweed. It's a good base for walking in the Cheviots or along the coast.
The owners have a shared tennis court, sauna, and small gym you can use, which are just across from the cottages.
Up to two dogs are allowed. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair.
