The Granary Cottage is in Warenford. It's a village, but a quiet one. You're part of a pair of cottages here, attached to one other. You get your own bit of garden, which is a sun trap in the afternoon. It's peaceful.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The stairs are winding and a bit steep, just so you know.
There's a pub with a restaurant about thirty yards away. It's good. For a shop, you'll need to drive about a mile to Belford.
The location is the main thing. You're about five miles from Bamburgh and its castle and that huge beach. Seahouses is a few minutes in the car for boat trips to the Farne Islands. Holy Island is close too, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway.
Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a twenty minute drive. Berwick-upon-Tweed is maybe half an hour. You're right between the Cheviot Hills and the coast, so walking or cycling from the door is easy.
As for stuff here: you've got a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's also a shared sauna and a small gym on site, and you can use the hard tennis court.
