The Cottage At Glororum

The Cottage at Glororum is in Burton, near Bamburgh. It's down a single-track lane. It's detached, so no neighbours attached to you. The garden is enclosed.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is attached to the main bedroom upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated recently, so things like the kitchen are modern. The floors are slate in there.

There's a wood burning stove in the living room. It makes the place very warm. The dining area has extra seating and a second television, so you can spread out.

The main thing is the view. From the front, you look straight out towards Bamburgh Castle and the sea. It's a good view. You're about a mile from Bamburgh village itself, so you can walk there in twenty-five minutes if you don't mind the lane. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat there.

The beach is just over a mile away. You can be on the sand at Bamburgh very quickly. For walking, the coast path is right there.

Within half an hour you can drive to Holy Island, which you need to check the tide times for. Alnwick with its castle and gardens is about twenty minutes south. Seahouses is a few minutes up the road for boat trips to the Farne Islands.

In terms of what's here, the facilities list covers it. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's a cot if you need one.
