Puffin Cottage is in Seahouses, right in the old part of the village. It's a stone-built cottage in a quiet courtyard. You're about a two minute walk from the beach and the harbour.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We had it refurbished a while back, so it's in good order. The courtyard is shared with the neighbours, but it's still pretty quiet.
You've got pubs and shops literally 50 yards away. The supermarket is about five minutes walk. The Seahouses links golf course is just on the edge of the village.
Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands boat trips are the big local things. The castle is a ten minute drive. The boats go out from the harbour here, so you can walk down. They're run by the National Trust. You see a lot of puffins and seals.
The coast path runs right past the village. You can walk to Bamburgh Castle along it if you want, it's about three miles. Holy Island is about a 20 minute drive, depending on the tide times. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are roughly half an hour inland.
For facilities: parking is on site, WiFi is included, bedding and towels are there for you. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. You can bring up to two dogs.
