Bernicia House is in North Sunderland. It's a detached house, not attached to anything. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with that many people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well.
The front garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two. There's a patio out the back with a table and a BBQ. The garage is big. You can put bikes or kayaks in there.
Downstairs, there's a living room that leads into a conservatory. That's got some games in it. Upstairs, there's another living area with big windows. The view from there is towards the coast and fields. You can see horses in the field opposite.
Seahouses is a short walk away. Probably ten minutes. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat there. The harbour is there too, for boat trips out to the Farne Islands. The beach is about the same distance, maybe a fifteen minute walk.
Bamburgh is two miles up the road. The castle is there and the beach is huge. Holy Island is visible from the beach. You can drive over when the tide is out, but you have to check the crossing times.
Alnwick is about a twenty minute drive inland. The castle and the Alnwick Garden are there. The garden has that big treehouse restaurant.
Facilities: everything is included. Bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher. There's parking on the drive. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
