Bernicia House is in North Sunderland, the village just before Seahouses. It's detached and sleeps eight.
There are four bedrooms. One is downstairs with its own bathroom. The other three are upstairs, sharing two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so the finishes are good. It's not old, it's a modern built house.
The main living room is upstairs to make the most of the view. You look straight out over fields to the sea. The other living space is on the ground floor and leads into the conservatory. We've put a table tennis table in there. The kitchen has a dishwasher and looks onto the back garden.
There's a large garage which is handy for storing bikes or wetsuits. The garden is enclosed. There's a patio with furniture and a barbecue.
You can walk to the local shop and pub in a few minutes. The coast path and the beach are about a ten minute walk. Seahouses harbour, where the boat trips leave for the Farne Islands, is under a mile.
Bamburgh is two miles up the road. You can see the castle from here. The beach there is huge. Holy Island is visible from the coast and you can drive over at low tide. Alnwick is about a fifteen minute drive inland for bigger shops or to visit Alnwick Garden.
Facilities: everything is included, bedding, towels, wifi. There's a washing machine, a cot, a highchair and a stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on the drive.
