Puffin Place
Puffin Place is in Beadnell, on a cul-de-sac with a few other houses like it. It's an end-terrace.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms upstairs, two bathrooms, which is handy. One's an en-suite off the main bedroom. That room has a small Juliet balcony you can step out onto. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The living room has French doors that open onto a decked area. There's a fully enclosed lawned garden too, so it's safe for a dog or kids. You're about 200 yards from the beach at Beadnell Bay. It's a great, sandy beach, good for swimming and popular for windsurfing and kayaking.
In the village, there's a shop and two pubs that do food, all less than a mile away. Seahouses is two miles up the coast. You can get boat trips from the harbour there out to the Farne Islands, which are fantastic for seeing seabirds and seals. The National Trust looks after them.
Bamburgh is another three miles, with its huge castle on the coast. You can see Holy Island from the beach there. Alnwick is about a 20-minute drive inland. The castle is worth a visit, and so are the Alnwick Gardens if that's your thing.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
