Sandpiper

Sandpiper is a bungalow in Beadnell. It's modern and semi-detached. You're two minutes from the beach, if you walk slowly. The garden is enclosed and there's parking right there.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. One bathroom has a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The doorways are wide and it's all on the ground floor, so it works well if someone has mobility issues. We leave some board games there.

You're a ten minute walk from the village shop and two pubs. The Landing, which is a beach bar and restaurant, is practically on the beach next to you.

The beach is sandy and huge. You can walk for miles. Boat trips to the Farne Islands go from Seahouses, which is the next village along. You can see puffins and seals. Bamburgh Castle is a short drive north, and Dunstanburgh Castle is a walk south along the coast.

Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about eight miles inland. That's the Harry Potter film castle. For a bigger day out, the Cheviot Hills are about half an hour's drive west.

Facilities: there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, wifi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The patio has a BBQ.
