Captain Jack's is a single-storey cottage on the Smuggler's Cove estate in Beadnell. It's good for four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom.
It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished. The layout is all on one level, which makes it practical. There's a small enclosed patio garden out the back.
You're about a ten minute walk from Beadnell beach. It's a sandy bay and is very good for water sports. The village itself is quiet. There are a couple of pubs and a cafe within easy walking distance. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Seahouses.
From the cottage, you can walk along the coast to Seahouses or the other way towards Newton-by-the-Sea. It's all very flat. Bamburgh Castle is a short drive away, you can see it from the coast road. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about twenty five minutes by car.
The facilities cover what you'd need: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside the door. No pets, I'm afraid.
