Ziggy's Retreat
This is Ziggy's Retreat. It's a detached bungalow near Seahouses. You're basically on the north end of the beach, just over the dunes.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, plus a separate toilet. We've just had it all done up so it's fresh and clean. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The front room and the main bedroom look straight out over the dunes towards the sea. Bamburgh Castle is on the horizon. The other bedroom is a twin at the back.
There's a dining room in the middle with an open fire. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you've brought a dog. We allow one pet. There's parking for two cars.
You can walk onto the beach from here. Seahouses itself is a short walk away for shops and pubs. The boats to the Farne Islands go from the harbour there.
Bamburgh is just down the coast, maybe ten minutes by car. The castle is worth a visit. Northumberland National Park and Northumberland Coast sites are good for planning walks. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are about a twenty minute drive inland.
In terms of what's here, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and all bedding and towels are included.
