Ziggy's Retreat
Ziggy's Retreat is a bungalow just outside Seahouses. It's detached. You're basically on the edge of the village, about a minute's walk from the north end of the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a separate toilet. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've just finished refurbishing it, so it's fresh and clean. It's comfortable, not grand.
The main lounge and the double bedroom are at the front. They look straight out over the sand dunes towards the sea. You can see Bamburgh Castle in the distance. The other bedroom is a twin at the back.
There's a dining room in the middle with an open fire. The kitchen leads off from there. It's got what you need.
The garden is fully enclosed and quite big. There's a patio area with a table. It's safe for kids and okay for one dog. You can park two cars off the road.
You can walk to the beach, or into Seahouses for shops and pubs. The Farne Islands boat trips leave from the harbour. It's a good base for walking the coast.
Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes by car. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are maybe half an hour. Holy Island is about a twenty-five minute drive, but you have to check the tide times.
In terms of what's here, we've put in WiFi. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. The parking is on site.
