Ingram Cottage is in the middle of Bamburgh. It's a detached stone cottage, so you've got your own space. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog or kids.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. That's a plus with six people, nobody's queuing. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. The living area is open plan upstairs. There's a second TV room downstairs if someone wants to watch something different.
You're right in the village. The castle is about a five minute walk. The beach is about a ten minute walk the other way. It's a huge, sandy beach. The village has a couple of shops, a few pubs that do food, and some cafes.
Seahouses is the next village along, about a ten minute drive. That's where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands. You'll see seals and puffins in season. There's a golf course here too, with good views.
Further afield, Alnwick is about a twenty minute drive south. The castle is worth a visit, and so are the gardens. Alnmouth is a bit closer, maybe fifteen minutes. It's a nice spot for a walk and a drink by the estuary.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
