Embleton Cottage
This is Embleton Cottage in Beadnell. It's a stone-built end-of-terrace house in the middle of the village. Quiet street. You get the garden out the back to yourselves. It's walled, so it's enclosed.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is upstairs, the other is a shower room downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. Everything works.
The local pub is just down the road, about a minute's walk. The village shop is a couple of minutes the other way. The beach is about a ten or fifteen minute walk. It's a long, sandy beach with dunes. Really good for kids and dogs.
From here, you can drive up to the Northumberland Coast pretty easily. Lindisfarne is about a twenty minute drive. Remember to check the tide times for the causeway. Alnwick Castle is about twenty-five minutes inland. Bamburgh Castle is even closer, maybe ten minutes by car.
For facilities, it’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. There's on-street parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one. No pets, sorry.
