The Haven
The Haven is a first floor flat in Beadnell. It's about a five minute walk from the beach, maybe less if you're quick. You get a view over the dunes from the main room. It's bright, the ceilings are a decent height for a holiday let, so it doesn't feel cramped.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable. You can bring two dogs. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher, which is handy with sand and wet gear. Bedding and towels are included.
The flat is in a quiet part of the village. There's a shop and a pub about ten minutes walk away. The pub does food. Beadnell harbour is close, just a short stroll. The beach there is sandy and good for families.
You're in a good spot for the coast. Bamburgh Castle is a ten minute drive north. The Farne Islands boat trips go from Seahouses, which is the next village along. Holy Island is about half an hour's drive, but you must check the tide times. Alnwick is twenty minutes inland for the castle and gardens.
For a longer day out, you can drive up to Berwick upon Tweed or into the Scottish borders in under an hour.
