The Haven is a flat on the first floor in Beadnell. It's about five minutes' walk from the beach. You're above the ground floor flat but you have it to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern and there's a lot of light. The windows look over the dunes towards the sea.
You can see the sand from the main room. It's open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all together. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Towels and bedding are included.
The village shop and a couple of pubs are a ten minute walk. The Craster Arms does food. Beadnell Harbour is close, you can walk there along the beach.
The beach is sandy and long. It's good for swimming, but the North Sea is cold. People windsurf and kite surf here. There's a golf course just outside the village.
For days out, you've got the castles. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is about twenty minutes by car. Bamburgh Castle is ten minutes up the coast. You can get boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses, which is the next village along. That's good for seeing the puffins and seals. Holy Island is about half an hour's drive, but you have to check the tide times.
You can take two dogs. There's parking for one car.
