Ebbe Retreat is a ground floor apartment in Beadnell House. It's a Georgian building, so the ceilings are high and the windows are big. There are some original features left, like a big fireplace and an old doorway.
It sleeps four, in two double bedrooms. Both have their own bathroom, which is handy. The kitchen leads out to a private patio area with a table and chairs. You can also use the shared grounds.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.
The village is small. There's a shop about five minutes walk away. A couple of pubs and a restaurant are even closer, just up the road.
Beadnell Bay is famous for its beach. It's golden sand and about half a mile from the door. It's very popular for water sports. You can arrange things like sea kayaking and kitesurfing locally.
Seahouses is two miles north. That's where the boats for the Farne Islands leave from. It's good for a trip out to see the puffins and seals. Seahouses has more shops and places to eat too.
Alnwick is about a fifteen minute drive inland. The castle is the main thing there. Alnwick Garden is worth a visit as well, especially the treehouse.
For walking, the Northumberland Coast Path is right there. For other days out, you're close to National Trust Northumberland properties like Lindisfarne Castle, and Northumberland Coast AONB has good information about the area.
