Carmel is a bungalow in Beadnell. It's detached and sits just behind the dunes. Takes about a minute to walk to the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which mainly means it's well looked after and has everything you'd need. Everything's on one level, which is handy.
The open plan living area is a good size. There's a wood burning stove for colder nights and big windows that look out onto the deck. The kitchen's got a dishwasher and a small wine fridge. There's a washing machine in the utility cupboard.
Outside is a decked area with furniture. There's parking right at the front. Around the side is a big storage space for bikes, surfboards, or a pushchair.
The beach is sandy and very wide. Good for swimming, walking, or watersports if you're into that. The village has a shop and a couple of pubs that do food, about a ten minute walk.
Seahouses is two miles up the coast. You can get boat trips from there to the Farne Islands to see the seals and birds. Bamburgh, with its castle, is about three miles further. Holy Island is visible from the beach but you need to check the tide times to drive over. Alnwick, with its castle and gardens, is about a twenty minute drive inland.
Facilities include: WiFi, TV, bedding and towels, a cot, and a highchair. No pets. There are also two tennis courts on the lane that guests can use.
