Cygnet Cottage is in Seahouses. It's just off the main street, so you can walk to everything in about two minutes. The harbour and the beach are that way.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The living room is cosy, there's a woodburner. The kitchen is a decent size with a dishwasher and a table. You can park one car round the back, it's a shared space with the other cottages.
Seahouses is a good base. You've got shops, pubs, places to eat. The main thing is the boat trips from the harbour out to the Farne Islands. You'll see thousands of birds and seals. It's worth booking. You can walk along the coast to Bamburgh, it's a nice walk. The castle there is spectacular. The Grace Darling Museum is in Bamburgh too.
If you drive, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about half an hour away. That's the Harry Potter castle. For a longer walk, the Northumberland Coast National Landscape path is right there. Holy Island is about a 25 minute drive, but you have to check the tide times.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. The garden is a small patio area. It says it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring two dogs.
