Cranesbill is in Waren Mill, just outside Bamburgh. It's a new, detached house built into an old quarry. There are great views from the big windows.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom is a king with an en-suite. There's another king and a twin. It has a 4 Star rating, which basically means it's well-finished and comfortable. It's all on one level, so it's good if stairs are a problem.
The main room is open plan: kitchen, dining, and living area together. There's a wood burner. Outside is a decked area with seating.
You're a couple of minutes' drive from Bamburgh itself. The castle is the obvious thing. The beach is huge and really good for walks. Seahouses is about five minutes away for boat trips to the Farne Islands. You'll see plenty of birds and seals.
For a longer day out, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about half an hour's drive. Holy Island, or Lindisfarne, is maybe 20 minutes, but you have to check the tide times for the crossing.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance and all on the ground floor. No pets.
