Stable Cottage is in Belford. It used to be the stables for the big house here. It's detached, so it's just you. The garden looks out over fields towards the sea. It's a quiet spot.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. Everything works.
You can walk into the village in a few minutes. There's a shop, a farm shop, and a couple of pubs. They're all handy.
Bamburgh is about five miles up the road. The castle is there and the beach is very good. It's sand all the way. Alnwick and Berwick are about fifteen miles in either direction if you need a bigger town.
From here, you can get to a lot of places quite easily. Holy Island is about twenty minutes' drive, but you have to check the tide times. The Northumberland coast path is right there for walking. The Cheviots and the National Park are inland if you want proper hills.
For facilities, it's got most things: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. Parking is right outside.
If you're planning trips, these sites are useful: Northumberland National Park and Northumberland Coast.
