The Byre
The Byre is on our farm, near Chatton village. It's a converted stone barn. You've got your own enclosed yard and garden at the back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The living space is on the middle floor. The stairs inside are the original ones, so they're a bit steeper than in a modern house.
We're about a two minute walk from the village shop and the pub. The pub does food. The shop has the essentials. There's a trout fishery right next door if you fancy it.
The beach at Bamburgh is about twenty minutes by car. The castle there is worth seeing. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about half an hour away. The Northumberland National Park is on the doorstep for walking, and you can join St Cuthbert's Way from Wooler, which is ten minutes down the road.
The back garden has decking and a hot tub. There's bike storage if you need it. Parking is right outside. We allow one well-behaved dog. All the bedding and towels are provided.
