The Byre is outside Chatton in Northumberland. It's a converted barn. You're on the edge of the village, so it's quiet. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms over two floors. One bedroom is upstairs with its own bathroom, the other two are downstairs. There's a second bathroom downstairs too. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-finished and comfortable.
The layout has three levels, so there are stairs inside. They're fine. The hot tub is on the decking in the back garden. It's there if you want it.
The local shop and the pub, the Percy Arms, are about five minutes walk. The pub does food. Chatton Trout Fishery is just up the road if you fish.
Wooler is about ten minutes drive. It's a small town with cafes and shops. Good for getting started on walks. St Cuthbert's Way runs nearby.
Bamburgh beach and its castle are about twenty minutes east. The beach is massive. Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden are half an hour south. National Trust Northumberland has a lot of the coastline. Berwick-upon-Tweed is also about half an hour north.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars. You can bring one dog.
