Casa Nostro
Casa Nostro is on a quiet side street in Wooler. It's detached, so no noise through the walls. You've got your own garden out the back, which is enclosed. It's got parking on the drive.
It says it sleeps six, and it's got four bedrooms, which is handy if you don't all want to share. There's one bathroom, with a shower over the bath. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, not a show home.
The main street is a couple of minutes' walk. There are some good independent shops and a few pubs that do food. The nearest one is about 200 yards away.
You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park here. The Cheviot Hills are all around. Good walking and cycling straight from the door. If you fish, the Rivers Till and Tweed are close.
In about half an hour you can drive to the coast. Seahouses is where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the seabirds and seals. Holy Island is about the same distance, but check the tide times. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a 25 minute drive north.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden has a BBQ.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a kids' play area on site as well.
