Graces Dairy
Grace's Dairy is on the edge of Wooler. It's a modern conversion of an old milking parlour, so it's all on one level. It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms.
The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and well-equipped. The main living area opens out onto a decked balcony that looks west over fields towards the Cheviot Hills. Good for sunsets.
You can walk straight from the door into the hills. It's about a ten minute walk into Wooler centre. There's a Co-op for supplies and a few pubs that do food. The golf course is on the other side of town.
You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. For a day out, the coast at Bamburgh is about half an hour's drive. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is similar. The Ad Gefrin museum and distillery is just outside Wooler if that's your thing.
Berwick-upon-Tweed is 15 miles north. It's got a long beach and the old town walls. From there, you can easily get into the Scottish Borders. Edinburgh is about an hour and a half if the traffic's good.
Facilities: it's got everything on the list. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking for a few cars. There's an electric vehicle charger. You can bring one dog. We can provide a cot and highchair.
