Humbleton Falls
Humbleton Falls is a cottage in Wooler, Northumberland. It's on a small, private holiday park that's part of a working farm. It's next to another cottage. The main thing is the waterfall. It's right there, at the bottom of the garden. You can hear it from inside.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
The layout is a bit different. The front door takes you into the kitchen. There are also two twin bedrooms and a bathroom on that level. Then you go down six steps to the main living room. That room is big and bright, with a large arched window. The master bedroom is off the living room. It has a four-poster bed and its own shower room.
The garden at the back is fully enclosed. It looks out over fields towards the Cheviot hills. It's safe if you've got kids.
Wooler is about half a mile away. It's a small town with shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs. There's a local pub within walking distance too.
For things to do, you're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. There's walking straight from the door. Bamburgh Castle and the beach are about a 20-minute drive. The Holy Island causeway is roughly half an hour, but you must check the tide times. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is about a 25-minute drive.
The facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
