Aidan Cottage is in Holburn, Northumberland. It's the last cottage in a little terrace of three.
It's been here about 150 years. It sleeps four on two floors. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well sorted.
The main room has an open fire. The French doors there open onto a deck. You can sit out there and look over the fields. There's no other houses in the way. The kitchen has a wood stove in it as well. It's a proper farmhouse kitchen table, so you can all sit round it.
The stairs are quite steep. That's just how it is.
You're right out in the country. It's quiet. The hamlet here is called Hetton Hall, just a few cottages really.
For a day out, Bamburgh Castle and the beach are about half an hour away by car. Holy Island is a bit further, but you can drive out there when the tide's right. The Northumberland National Park is on your doorstep for walking. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast and castles up here.
Golf and fishing are locally available if that's your thing.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. The garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
