Cheviot View

Cheviot View is in West Mains, a small hamlet in Northumberland. It's a terraced cottage. The location is quiet, but you're only about ten minutes by car from Berwick-upon-Tweed if you need shops or a supermarket.

It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms upstairs: one double, one with twin beds, and a single. There's one bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. Downstairs, there's a separate toilet, which is handy.

The living room has French doors that open out to a south-facing patio garden. It gets the sun. There's a multi-fuel stove for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you'd need: a dishwasher, washing machine, and an oven. It's a decent space for meals.

The beach at Cheswick is about three miles away. It's a really nice stretch of sand. You can see Holy Island from there. The village pub is a mile away, and it serves food.

You're well placed for the big sights. Bamburgh Castle is a 25-minute drive. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is about 20 minutes, but you must check the tide times for the causeway. The Cheviot Hills are half an hour inland for walking. If you're into golf or horse riding, there are local places for that.

Facilities are all included. The rental comes with bedding and towels. There's on-site parking. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The garden is enclosed.
