Bees Cottage
Bees Cottage is on a farm just outside Ancroft. You've got fields all around and you can see the Cheviots in the distance. It's a stone cottage, part of the old farm buildings.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms, two downstairs. One has a kingsize bed, one has two singles, and there's a shower room on that floor too. Upstairs is another kingsize bedroom and a bathroom. The stairs are normal, not a ladder. Everything's on one level except that top bedroom.
The garden at the back is enclosed. It looks out over the fields. There's a table and chairs out there. Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room, a Smart TV, and the kitchen has what you need. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You're about two miles from the beach at Cheswick. The causeway to Holy Island is four miles away, so you can easily pop over when the tide's out. Berwick-upon-Tweed is four miles for supermarkets and the train station. There's a pub you can walk to.
Bamburgh Castle is about a 20 minute drive. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is maybe 35 minutes. You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park for walking, and the Northumberland Coast is all there to explore.
Facilities: parking right there, towels and bedding included, washing machine, WiFi. The garden is secure. No pets.
