Cinnabar is a one bedroom flat for two people in Berwick upon Tweed. It's on Quay Walls, right next to the River Tweed.
It's got a Five Star rating. That means it's been finished to a very high standard throughout. It's modern and comfortable.
You come in through a courtyard garden at the back. It's full of plants and feels very green. There's a little table out there. The main door is up a few steps from there.
Inside, it's mostly open plan. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher and a coffee machine. It leads into the living and dining room. There's a big sofa and a smart TV. You can sign into your own Netflix account if you want. There's a dining table by the window looking out to the courtyard.
There's a large, non-working fireplace in the living room. It's just for show, but it looks good. There are a lot of books on a big shelf.
Down the hall is the bathroom. It's fully tiled with a big walk-in shower. The bedroom is up a few more steps. It has a king-size bed and looks out to the garden too. There's also a utility room with a washing machine.
A parking permit is provided for one car on the street outside. If you have more than one car, there are free car parks close by.
Location is straightforward. You're about a minute from the river. Bridge Street, which has pubs and restaurants, is two minutes' walk. The main town is five minutes. The beach is a short walk along the historic town walls. The train station is also within walking distance.
For days out, you're on the edge of the Northumberland Coast. The National Trust Northumberland Coast page is useful. The English Heritage site for Berwick's barracks and ramparts is nearby. Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island are both about a half hour's drive away.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, washing machine. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
