Heron House

Heron House is in Berwick upon Tweed. It's a detached house. You're about 400 yards from the beach and a very short walk down to the River Tweed.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done to a high standard. The kitchen was refitted in 2020, so it's modern and has everything you need, including a dishwasher. The dining area is a good size.

There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave you some logs to get started. The master bedroom at the front has a view of the sea.

Berwick town centre is about a mile away for shops, pubs and restaurants. There's a local pub closer than that. The house is wheelchair accessible at the entrance, and there's a walk-in shower in the bathroom.

You can take two pets. The garden is enclosed. There's a BBQ and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.

From here you can explore the coast. It's a great base for Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island are within a 30 minute drive. The A1 is very close if you want to head further up into Scotland or down into Northumberland.
