Murton Cottage
Murton Cottage is near Berwick-upon-Tweed. It's a converted farm building, so it's quite solid and has a good view over fields.
It sleeps six across three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished. It's a luxury property, which means the things are decent quality.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
The place has a woodburning stove for cooler nights. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
The nearest shop and places to eat are about two miles away in Berwick. There's a pub four miles from here.
Berwick itself is interesting for a walk around the old walls. The coast is close. The sandy beach at Scremerston is three miles. Holy Island is about ten miles away, but you need to check the tide times for the crossing.
For a day out, you can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands from Seahouses to see the seals and puffins. Bamburgh Castle is along that coast. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a half hour drive south. The Cheviot hills are good for walking if you like that.
