This is Number Twenty Nine. It’s in Berwick, right near the station and the town centre. It’s an upside-down house, so the bedroom and loo are on the ground floor, and the living area and kitchen are upstairs. It sleeps two, and has a four star rating. It’s modern and clean.
Parking is on street, but I’ll give you one resident’s permit for your stay. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
Berwick itself is good for a wander. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. The beaches at Lowick and Goswick are about a ten minute drive. They’re big and often empty. Holy Island is about half an hour south, but you must check the tide times for the causeway.
You’re well placed for exploring. It’s about twenty minutes to the coast and villages north into Scotland. The Cheviot hills are inland. By train, you can be in Edinburgh in under an hour.
For things to do locally, these sites are useful: Northumberland Coast National Landscape and Northumberland National Park.
The place has WiFi, the bedding and towels are included, and there’s a washing machine. The shower is a walk-in rainfall type.
