Archie's Cottage is in Burnmouth, in the Scottish Borders. It's a terraced house right on the harbour, so you're looking out at the sea. The cottage is on three floors.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are a typical cottage style. They wind a bit.
You've got a small patio area out the front. It's a good spot with a coffee. The sea is right there. There's a coastal path that starts practically at the door if you fancy a walk.
The nearest pub is about half a mile up the hill. There's a shop and a restaurant in the village, which is about a mile and a half away. Berwick-upon-Tweed is five miles south, so you can pop over the border into England easily. Eyemouth is three miles north. Both have proper supermarkets and things to see.
If you like history, there's a lot of it around here. Castles, old battlefields. Edinburgh is about an hour's drive if you want a city day. For walking, the Lammermuir Hills are inland. They're proper hills.
For facilities: it's got parking right outside, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
