Rock Cottage is in St Abbs, just up from the harbour. It's one half of a semi-detached building in a courtyard next to the dive centre we run.
The cottage is small, sleeps two in one bedroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's cosy and functional. There's one bathroom with a shower.
The main thing is the view. You can see the harbour from every window. The living room doors open onto a little decked area right by the rock face, which is a nice spot.
You're right in the village. There's a post office and a small shop about 250 yards away, and a couple of cafes. For a pub or a restaurant you'd need to go to Coldingham, which is about a mile and a half, or into Eyemouth which is five miles.
St Abbs Head is the big draw here. The nature reserve is brilliant for wildlife and the cliff top walks are spectacular. It's right on the doorstep.
Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got places like Paxton House and Bamburgh Castle. The golf course is at Coldingham.
For facilities, it's got Wi-Fi, a TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can store bicycles. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
