St Abbs The Flag House is in St Abbs, on the Berwickshire coast. It's a small, detached cottage built into the top of the cliff. You really are right on the edge. The views from the windows are all sea.
It's a studio, so it's all one room. It sleeps two. There's a double bed, a small kitchen area, a table, and one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, which means it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious.
You have to climb a fair few steps from the car park up the cliff path to get to the door. Then there are a few more steps up into the cottage itself. It's part of the old signal station, which is why it's called The Flag House.
The nearest shop, pub, and places to eat are in Coldingham, about three miles back along the road. St Abbs itself is a fishing village. It's mainly for the harbour and the lifeboat station. The coastal path runs right past the cottage. The sea is right there if you want to go diving or just watch the birds.
If you want a bigger town, Eyemouth is about ten minutes' drive south. Berwick-upon-Tweed is about half an hour south over the border. Edinburgh is just over an hour's drive if you fancy a day in the city.
What's here: there's a small patio area outside, parking for one car at the bottom of the cliff path, TV, WiFi, all bedding and towels are included. No pets.
