Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage is in Coldingham, which is in the Scottish Borders. It's a one-bedroom cottage that sleeps two adults comfortably. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's nicely finished and well equipped.

The main living space is all on the ground floor, which is handy. It's a bright room with a wood burner. The bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.

You've got a fully enclosed garden, front and back, which is why we allow up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.

Coldingham village centre, with a couple of pubs and a shop, is about a ten minute walk. The beach at Coldingham Bay takes about twenty minutes on foot. It's sandy and good for surfing. St Abbs Head is a short drive away, it's a fantastic coastal nature reserve run by the Scottish Wildlife Trust. Great for walks and birdwatching.

If you want to fish, Coldingham Loch does fly fishing. St Abbs itself is a pretty little fishing harbour with a good cafe. Eyemouth, which has a working harbour and a golf course, is about ten minutes by car.

For a bigger day out, you can drive to Berwick-upon-Tweed in about twenty minutes. It's an interesting walled town and you can get the train to Edinburgh from there in under an hour.

Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
