Seal View is in Burnmouth. It's a terraced cottage set back about a hundred yards from the shore. You can see the sea from the front room.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable but not luxury. There's a woodburning stove you can use.
They call it Seal View because there's a colony of grey seals on the rocks. You can often see them from the garden at low tide.
The garden is done up nicely. There's a paved patio with furniture.
There's a pub about a mile away. The nearest shop and restaurant are in Eyemouth, which is three miles. Eyemouth has a sandy beach. For a better beach, Coldingham Bay is about six miles. It's popular with surfers.
St Abbs is close. The headland there is a National Nature Reserve for seabirds. Berwick-upon-Tweed is six miles away. You can walk the town walls, and they've got museums and galleries.
If you want to go further, you can be in Edinburgh or Newcastle in under an hour by car. Good houses and castles like Paxton House and Floors Castle are within a half hour drive.
For facilities, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking.
