Bell Tower
Bell Tower is a bungalow. It's right on the edge of Berwick upon Tweed, at the end of a little row of houses. You go down a path from the main street and you're there.
It's modern and quiet. It was all refurbished in 2020. It's open plan. The kitchen's at one end, then there's the living space with a sofa and a table, then the bedroom is through a door, then the shower room.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which feels about right. It's clean and comfortable.
The garden's enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog. There's parking right outside.
The good thing is where it is. The beach is about five minutes walk away. It's a proper sandy beach. The town centre, with the shops and pubs and a few places to eat, is a similar walk back the other way. There's a local pub very close.
It's a good spot for just being by the sea for a few days, or for using as a base. You can drive up into Scotland very easily from here. Holy Island is about 20 minutes away, but you have to check the tide times. Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle are both about half an hour's drive south.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, a TV in the main room and one in the bedroom, and the WiFi works fine. Bedding and towels are included.
