Jungle Nook

This is Jungle Nook, in Berwick upon Tweed. It's a one-bedroom flat, sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is accurate. It's comfortable and everything works.

The main thing is the decor. It's very... colourful. Lots of plants and patterns. It's not everyone's taste, but it's done well. The sofa is a big mustard-coloured thing, it's quite comfortable. There's a wood burner in the living room, and we leave you some logs to get started.

The kitchen is modern, it's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. The bedroom has a king-size bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Everything's clean and in good order.

Outside, there's a small patio area with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Parking is on the street outside, it's usually straightforward to find a space.

You're in the old part of Berwick. It's a five-minute walk to the river and the town walls. The sea and the main beach are about a 15-minute walk. It's a proper working town, not just a holiday place. There are shops, cafes, and a few pubs nearby.

If you want to explore, you're right on the Northumberland coast. Bamburgh Castle is about a 20-minute drive south, Holy Island about 25 minutes. For a longer day out, Edinburgh is just over an hour by train or car.

Facilities are all there: WiFi, bedding and towels included, that sort of thing. No pets, sorry.
