Jungle Nook is a flat in Berwick-upon-Tweed. It's right in the town, but the back garden is quiet. It looks out over other gardens.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a king-size bed, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's kept to a good standard. Everything works.
The owner has decorated it in a bold way. Lots of plants and patterns. There's a wood burning stove and they provide logs for it. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Outside, there's a small patio with a table and chairs. You get on-street parking, which is free.
Berwick is a good base. You can walk down to the river and the old walls. The beach is about a fifteen minute walk. It's a proper sandy beach.
Within half an hour you can get to some great spots. Bamburgh Castle is about twenty miles south, Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is a similar distance north. The Northumberland coast path runs right past here if you like walking. For a longer day out, Edinburgh is just over an hour by train or car.
Everything is included: bedding, towels, wifi, electricity. No pets allowed.
