Ashfield
Ashfield is in Paxton, a quiet village in the Scottish Borders. It's a detached cottage with its own garden.
It sleeps four people. Three bedrooms, but one is a day room with a single bed, so it's best for four really. All on the ground floor. One bathroom with a bath and shower. It's a 3 Star place. It's clean and comfortable, not fancy.
The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car right outside, and space for another on the drive. The lane to the cottage is narrow.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed.
The pub is about a three-minute walk away. They do food. Berwick-upon-Tweed is about five miles. That's where the main shops are, and the train station if you wanted to go to Edinburgh or Newcastle.
Paxton House is nearby. The grounds are good for dog walking and they have a tea room. The coast is about five miles away. For walking, you have the Lammermuir Hills and the River Tweed.
