No. 2 Ness Street
No. 2 Ness Street is a terraced house in Berwick. It's on the street, so you get to watch the town go by. There's permit parking out front, and you get a permit for that.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms, all with king-size beds, spread over the ground, first, and second floor. Each floor has its own bathroom. One's an en-suite shower, one's a shower room, and the top floor has a bath. The stairs are normal.
Downstairs is the kitchen. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Upstairs on the first floor is the living room. There's a wood burner and a TV. The garden is out the back, enclosed.
You're right in the town. There are coffee shops, pubs and restaurants a short walk away. The microbrewery taproom is just round the corner. The river and the old walls are a couple of minutes' walk. The main beach is about a fifteen minute walk.
Berwick's a good base for seeing the coast. Holy Island is a 20 minute drive, but check the tide times. Bamburgh Castle is about 40 minutes south. Alnwick Castle and gardens are about half an hour. The Northumberland National Park is inland, maybe 45 minutes to an hour to the proper hills.
