This is No2 The Neuk in Belford. It’s a ground-floor cottage, all on one level. The whole place was completely rebuilt a few years ago, so everything is in good, clean condition.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and one shower room with a walk-in shower. The living room has a wood burning stove, which is nice in the colder months. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher. There's a small enclosed patio area out the back.
You can park right outside on the cul-de-sac. It's a quiet spot but you're right in the town. There's a shop about 300 yards away, and a couple of pubs even closer, one does food.
Bamburgh is about six miles east. The beach there is huge and sandy, and the castle is worth a visit. National Trust Bamburgh Castle.
Alnwick is 15 miles south, with its castle and the famous gardens. Berwick-upon-Tweed is 15 miles north. Holy Island, which you can drive to at low tide, is about 20 minutes away. The Cheviot Hills are a short drive west, good for walking.
Facilities wise: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. A travel cot is available if you need it.
