Cygnet Cottage
Cygnet Cottage is in Belford. It's a one bedroom cottage, sleeps two. There's a courtyard you share with the other cottage next door, Swan's Nest. They both belong to the same owners who run the local pub.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The bathroom is on the ground floor. The bedroom is upstairs. The sitting area is open plan.
Belford has what you need. There's a supermarket about five minutes walk away. The village has a few pubs, including the one owned by the same people. That one does food and sometimes has music on weekends.
You're in a good spot for the coast. Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes drive. Holy Island is maybe twenty minutes, but you have to check the tide times. Seahouses is close too. You can get a local bus to these places if you don't want to drive.
For walking, St Cuthbert's Cave is nearby. Budle Bay is good for birdwatching. The Northumberland Coast Path is easily accessible.
Further afield, you've got Alnwick Castle and Gardens about twenty minutes south. The Northumberland National Park is about half an hour inland.
In terms of what's there: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. The courtyard has a shared BBQ area. You can bring up to three dogs.
