Ferguson

This is Ferguson, a detached cottage in Warenford. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. All the bedrooms have an ensuite.

It’s a two-storey place. The village is quiet, and you're between the Cheviot Hills and the coast. The beach at Bamburgh is about five miles away. It's a long, sandy beach, good for walks. Bamburgh Castle is right there on the coast too.

There's a pub with a restaurant about thirty yards from the cottage. For shops, the nearest are in Belford, or Seahouses is a few minutes' drive away. You can get boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses if you want to see the puffins and seals.

Other places within half an hour include Holy Island. You have to check the tide times to drive across the causeway. Lindisfarne Castle is there. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are also nearby. There are good golf courses around if that's your thing.

At the cottage itself, there's a garden for you to use. You also get shared use of a hard tennis court and a small gym and sauna on site. Parking is on site.

You can bring up to three dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
