Fallodon Burnhouses is near Doxford in Northumberland. It's a single-storey cottage set in an acre of its own land. There's a private bit of woodland at the back that goes down to a shallow stream. You get the whole garden to yourselves.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It was fully refurbished a while back so it's in good condition and has that 4 Star feel. Everything is on the ground floor, which is handy.
Out the back, the garden looks over fields towards Doxford Hall. You can see the hall from here. They have a spa and a restaurant about half a mile up the road if you fancy a treat.
The coast is about a 20 minute drive. Seahouses and Bamburgh are that way, with the castle and good beaches. Alnwick is also about 20 minutes for the castle and gardens.
Facilities here are pretty good. There's a woodburning stove, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a games room. WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's a BBQ in the garden. Sorry, no pets.
