Lilac Cottage is in Dunstan. It's an old cottage painted white, part of a small terrace right next to The Cottage Inn. It sleeps three.
There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, nothing too fancy. The ceilings are low in some places because it's an old place. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so watch your head.
The pub is right next door. They do food and have a big garden. There's a bus stop nearby that goes between Alnwick and Seahouses.
Dunstan is a small hamlet. It's quiet. You can walk to Craster, which is about a mile away. They're known for their kippers. Dunstanburgh Castle and Embleton Bay are also within walking distance. The beach there is sandy and big, and it's often not very busy.
You're on the coast here. The whole area is good for walking. Alnwick is about six miles away. Seahouses and Bamburgh are within fifteen minutes in the car. You can get to Holy Island from there too, but you have to check the tide times.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
