Heckley Cottage
Heckley Cottage is on our land, about two miles north of Alnwick. It's a stone bungalow, detached. You can't see another house from it, just fields. The garden is yours, it's big and fenced. You get 14 acres to walk around.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, and everything is on the ground floor. One wet room shower. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. The doorways are a bit narrow in places. There's underfloor heating and a woodburning stove.
The nearest shop and a pub that does food are about a mile and a half away, in Lesbury. It's a decent pub. Alnwick is ten minutes in the car. The castle is there, and Alnwick Garden. It's a proper market town.
The coast is about four miles. Bamburgh beach is great, and the castle is spectacular. Dunstanburgh Castle is a good walk from Craster. There's golf nearby and stables if you want to ride.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage, a washing machine, a cot and highchair. All bedding is included. There's parking right outside. We've also got Northumberland National Park and the Northumberland Coast sites for planning.
