Glebelands Lodge is a small, detached stone house in Alnwick. It's got two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it sleeps four. It's recently been done up to a high standard. It's all on one floor but there are four steps up to the front door. There's also a level access route around the side if steps are a problem.
The main living space is light, with large arched windows. Off the back there's a small sunroom that leads to a patio and a bit of lawn. It's private, good for a coffee in the morning.
You're right in the town, so you can walk to everything. Shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema. It's a few minutes' walk to Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden. The garden is worth a visit, especially the treehouse restaurant. Barter Books, in the old station, is a good place to spend a wet afternoon.
The coast is about five miles away. Alnmouth village is four miles and has a nice beach, a few places to eat, and a golf course right by the sand. The whole coastline here is protected, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Inland, you've got the Cheviot hills, about half an hour's drive for walking.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets.
