Glebelands Lodge is in Alnwick. It's a detached stone cottage, Grade II listed, which really just means it's old and they can't change the outside. It's all on one floor.
It's been refurbished. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and its own shower room, the other has twin beds. The main bathroom has a walk-in shower. It's clean and comfortable, not fussy.
You get two ways in. The main door has a few steps up to the kitchen. There's a side entrance with no steps at all, which is handy. The living room has three big arched windows. Out the back there's a small sunroom and then a patio with a table and chairs. The garden is lawned and enclosed.
You can walk into the town centre in a few minutes. There are pubs, restaurants, a cinema, and shops. Alnwick Castle is there. The Alnwick Garden is worth a visit, with its treehouse restaurant. Barter Books in the old railway station is a good place to lose an hour.
The coast is about a ten minute drive. Alnmouth village is four miles away. There are two golf courses nearby, one by the beach. For walks, you've got the Northumberland coast one way and the Cheviot hills the other.
It has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Everything's included. No pets.
