Middle Cottage
Middle Cottage is in Shilbottle. It's one of a row of three. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you have a dog or small children.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom with its own bathroom is on the ground floor, which is handy. The other two are upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
There's a wood burner in the living room. It makes the place very cosy. The kitchen is a good size for a group.
The pub and a restaurant are about 100 yards away. The village shop is 300 yards. Alnmouth station, for trains along the coast and down to Newcastle, is a five-minute drive.
You're about four miles from both Alnwick and Alnmouth. Alnwick has the castle and the famous gardens. Alnmouth has a big sandy beach.
The Northumberland coast is right there. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can drive up to places like Seahouses, where you get boat trips to the Farne Islands, or Bamburgh with its castle, in under half an hour.
The facilities are what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charger and parking on site. You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
